About Drill Sergeant E

Hey everyone! First off thank you for checking out the website and merch! I do what I do for all of you!

A little about me... I am a Staff Sergeant in the Army. I have been active duty since 2012. I am an 11c Infantry Mortarman. I am currently stationed in Hawaii. I was a drill sergeant from 2020-2022 at Fort Moore then Fort Benning, Georgia. I know soldiers struggle with mental health, heck I do as well which is my main motivator behind the platform. Any money we recieve from our live videos Drill Sergeant's Time donates directly back to veterans in need! Every single penny!

With all of that being said let me tell you more about me! I am 35 years old, have been married for almost 15 years this year, I have 5 beautiful children and I own a farm house in Iowa that I plan to retire to after the Army. I started my Army Career with the Iowa national Guard in 2006 when I was a senior in Highschool. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 as a combat engineer and we did route clearance around the country...fun right! After that deployment I realized the Army was my calling and I was going to do it FULL TIME. I switched over to Active Duty as an 18x in September of 2012. Unfortunately I was injured during selection and ended up at Fort Polk, LA. This is where I made SGT! I spent almost 3 years here playing the bad guys to the Army units. I did a lot of MMA here as well and had my 3rd daughter here!

In 2015 I PCSd to Vecinza, Italy with the 173rd. I spent my entire time in Italy with HHC 2-503rd. This was by far my favorite duty station. At the end of my time here my wife and I found out were were prengant with our 4th Child (1st Son) and had just come down on order to.....wait for it.... Fort Hood.

I PCSd to Fort Hood in August of 2017 and by September I was on a plane to Korea for 9 months. My son was born while I was deployed to Korea unfortunately but my time in Korea wasn't to Bad. I was with 2nd Brigade 1-9CAV. Upon returning from Korea I was sent to the E6 Board, ALC, and promoted to Staff Sergeant. I was then moved over to 4-9CAV where I spent the remainder of my time at Fort Hood. During our last rotation to germay in 2019 I found out I was selected to become a Drill Sergeant and by June of 2020 I was graduating THE UNITED STATES ARMY DRILL SERGEANT ACADEMY.

From October 2020 to December 2022 I was a Drill Sergeant on Sand Hill 3-54 Battalion at Fort Benning. When my time finally came to and end on the TRAIL I found out I was being sent to my current duty station....Hawaii!

I arrived on Island December of 2022 and by February of 2023 I was on yet another plane this time to the Philippeans for a 3 months rotation. Hawaii has been okay but as I come to an end of my time here I reflect back on my last 13 plus years in the Army and I wouldn't do it any differently.
